CDS operates in an ethical manner that upholds human-rights principles: fair treatment of all stakeholders, fair trade practices and equal pay. CDS does not support child labour, or racial and gender discrimination.

CDS believes that as a business it has an obligation to society that goes beyond its commitments to stakeholders. CDS embeds sustainability into the core of its operations to create shared value for business and society, and is committed to the well-being of communities through environmental and social measures.

CDS groups its corporate social responsibility into four commitments, each backed by the organisations it supports.
Philanthropic
CDS actively works to better society, donating to deserving causes within the local community, often through a trust or foundation.
Economic
CDS makes financial decisions with a commitment to doing good, funding education programmes and local charities that support their mission.
Environmental
CDS is committed to sustainability: reducing its carbon footprint and greenhouse-gas emissions, and choosing sustainable resources across operations.

Kote Foundation / Right to Live
An NGO serving underprivileged communities for over a decade, with the higher purpose of transforming lives through quality education and health. CDS recently provided free school bags to every student, an essential resource to support their learning journey.
Vanavasi Kalyana
A social welfare organisation working with tribal communities. CDS donated a complete archery kit for tribal students, nurturing youth potential and the spirit of sport.
Sukrutha Trust
A public charity trust supporting students from primary school through to postgraduate study. CDS contributed towards one student's UPSC preparation, including course and library fees and a laptop.

Aruna Chetana
A voluntary charitable organisation of Hindu Seva Prathisthana providing comprehensive services to children with multiple disabilities. CDS has contributed towards children's daily needs and the setup of a computer lab.

A non-profit trust of ISKCON in Bangalore that runs the Midday Meal Scheme for children. CDS has contributed towards mid-day meals for one year for 150 children.

Through the Vidya Chetana project, this organisation encourages the education of children in government and rural schools up to Class 10. CDS has contributed towards annual school kits and school uniforms.

CDS has aligned with the SBTi Corporate Net-Zero Standard, the framework for corporate net-zero target setting in line with climate science. As an SME, CDS has set itself ambitious climate action with science-based emissions-reduction targets.
